Nestled along the central coast of Vietnam lies the charming city of Da Nang, a place that effortlessly combines the wonders of nature with soft sands, crystal-clear waters, and stunning landscapes.
Da Nang is home to the very famous Marble Mountains, Pagodas and iconic Bà Nà hills. It is the thrid largest city in Vietnam and it’s almost a metropolitan.
Anyone visiting Da nang the major attraction here is the My Khe beach. It has a majestic shoreline that stretches for almost 10 kilometers, with clear waters, fine white sand, and a tranquil atmosphere, this place is something not to be missed. We spent our whike strolling on the beach, there are a lot of cafes to chill…. We settled for a good seafood meal on the beach in a restaurant facing the ocean.
After 3-4 days of continuous rains, we finally got some sunshine. Could see a lot of surfers back in action, many taking a sun bath…. This was like a perfect beach day…. The lady Buddha Iconic statue can be visible from the beach adding to it’s scenic beauty. We had typical Vietnamese fish soup with rice for lunch…
After that took a walk on the streets near the beach. It’s amazing to walk here, you see a lot of cafes…. We wanted to try the Vietnam famous coconut coffee and egg coffee… Found it in a cafe parallel to the beach road, it tasted great! the crunchy pieces of coffee adds to the flavor…
Markets are something not to be missed while in Da Nang. Son Tra Market was where, we headed to. Lot of street food delicacy to try here, hotpot seafood was amazing! Best place to explore the local life.
right next to the market at weekend nights you have the dragon fire show right across the bridge. It’s definitely a must visit while in Da Nang.
Marble mountains are definitely an experience not to be missed. The climb and the view from the top everything is an experience. Right from walking inside the caves, small waterfalls, limestone structures, climbing to top from inside the cave…. Everything is extremely interesting….
The Pagodas are very beautiful indeed. The god/goddess structure carved on the rocks and the history behind them are something to be learnt while here. The scenic beauty of this place is definitely in the wish list for many.
Also if you are looking for some idols or marble structures and want to buy then there are a lot of shops just opposite to this place.
One place which entirely transforms to a different state is Ba na hills. Although it’s not far from Da Nang city, the weather and architecture makes you feel as if it’s totally a different country. It was extremely cold, almost 2-3 degree in the evening time.
It’s more of a fun place with a lot of entertainment and chill out area. Most photographed hand shaped structure is located here. Kids will have a real good time here, with lot of activities and kid friendly museums…
The cable car ride is definitely worth trying… You will see the dense jungles, a rivers cutting through the mountains and also the wonderful man made structures.
